WOMAN

I live in desolation

bethrothed to eternal isolation

I am a woman, I am an outcast

I am cursed, I can't outlast

A man intoxicated world

who fought only with the sword

Not through thought but with strength

And whose patience, short in length

I am a woman

but thought of as no one

I am a daughter, I am a wife

and within me I bear life

I have no freedom, I have no right

In this world I take no sight

I walk no path

I bear all wrath

I am invincible

but I am as well invisible

I possess the mightiest heart

whose love knows no end nor start

I possess a brilliant mind

whose brilliance must be kept and be bind

Because of my social denomination

I am a threat to a man favored nation

I am a woman of whose charm can enthrall

Whose passion can exalt

I am a woman, I am an outcast

but set inside me is the will to outlast
